Prefects' camp '08
Been a week since I got a chance to use the computer manzxz! It has been refusing to on since the day I went for camp. ):Well! I cant wait to update about PREFECTS CAMP!!! GROUP ONE (ONERS)! Bonded ones:D DAY ONE! The bus was late so we had to sit and wait. So Cleo insisted to teach them the shark cheer while myself went mumbling about the group name issue. Sadly, nobody gave a damn to me okay. ): Bus came and we were obviously late for activities so some talks were being pushed to the back when zipline and abseiling were pushing forward! I was so glad I survived through BOTH zipline and abseiling. Please take note: BOTH. My feet got stucked at the stand before I actually took off officially from the third storey for zipline. Apparently a person like me would naturally scream right. But who knows it became a joke for the board on the last day uh): Well its okay:D Abseiling was as scary as ever, as usual cant lean back and all. I almost cried okay! I was practically screaming my way down and I was so embarrassed okay! Those who were waiting for their turn to zipline saw what happened): S.A.D, Okay but whats most important was I SURVIVED THROUGH. Almost went crazy during the tentage building uh. Some would have know why. So, Im gonna skip this part. NIGHT EXPERDITION! 30.1KM of cycling! To be frank, Im so surprised I survived through all the screaming, falling, picking myself up, feeling embarrassed and guilty all along uh. Needless to say Im the one among the 53 of us who fell the most ya. I think Mr Lam and the instructors would know how badly I fell that night yeah. I think Ive never knew what were the B-R-A-K-E-S for in my entire life until my last fall that night man. Slopes were the scariest through the night, DISMOUNTING AND PUSHING were the best of all, because I was free of cycling and my unbalanceness. Both of my legs literally turned blueblack man, and my butt was hurting like :O. Gladly, the butt-hurt was as-a-whole thing, as everybody experienced it during the entire camp uh:B Oh, and the instructors were really nice to keep a look out for me all the while, and making me go first all the time. I'll always miss it when the instructors say "nobody go past me except for Cynthia." HAHA:B Double biking was challenging, DANGEROUS and tough. Being the front rider was stressful, when Im already not confident with myself riding a single bike. So obviously my partner suffered alot through the night. HAHA:B Im sorry): Sleep like a deadlog till the next morning :D Anyway, the planes did not really interrupted our sleep right? :D DAY TWO! Morning was 4km of cycling and it wasnt as "happening" as the first night's experience manzx. Cycled with Gladys and was at the back most of the time. Trekking was enjoyable except for a part of it. I'd definitely miss the cheering with oners manzxzx!! Most of the excos were at the back picking up firewood during fieldcooking. And I think its one part of the camp that I enjoyed too. :D Campfire Preparation did not went that well at first but Oners still did a great job when we put our heads together and think! :D Had plenty of fun with group during preparation, and I think it was through this preparation that we've bonded that much yeah. The only pity was none of them understand the skit uh): And campfire was short, and flies and bugs came to be spoilers D: Others had quite an early night except for the excos I think. But its okay, leadership is all about sacrificing uh:D HAHA. DAY THREE! Area Cleaning and Home Sweet Home! Ah, I think that was one of the camp that I enjoyed the most and hate leaving the most manzxzx. I almost cried when I thank the instructors okay! ): I'll miss the there and then, including the cycling trip which made me suffered so much! :D "today is the break camp day, break camp break camp today is the break camp day, break camp break camp No more flying fox, no more abseiling today is the break camp day, break camp break camp, Hey!" Break camp song which Shicheng thought before we left ): *** To Dearest 13th: Hey people, I know its been hard on us these days. But Im sure we can make it through in the end okay! As Ive said earlier in the camp, the reason for us to cry and feel sad was because we care. Im sure with such strong bond, we will definitely make it through this downturn of our life together! I hope after what happened, we've all grown stronger okay! Jiayou people, and I love you(: No matter how doubtful/upset/pissed I get, I'll try my best to continue to have faith. |
